With our Show My Listings App, members can easily create a great-looking, lead-generating, automated Facebook Business Page to display their listings.

The Show My Listings App on Facebook, provided by HAR.com, allows REALTORS® to easily display and promote their listings on their Facebook page. With the Show My Listings app, agents no longer need to manually post each of their listings on Facebook. Our goal is to help our members attract and drive leads on Facebook.

You can promote your Facebook Business Page by:

  • Inviting your friends on Facebook
  • Including a link on your newsletter or your website,
  • Promoting a link on your printed marketing material
  • Embedding a Facebook ‘Like Box’ Widget on your website / blog
  • Promoting your page on other social sites (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Using Facebook Social Ads

It is Simple and Here is How it Works

It is a two-step process: first you will need to create a Facebook business page. Then you will need to add the Show MyListings app to your business page on Facebook.

How to Create a Business Page on Facebook

If you do not have a Facebook page, you can easily create one following these simple steps. Please note that the app cannot be added to your Facebook profile, nor can you import your listings into your Facebook profile.

Step 1 – Go to www.facebook.com and enter your e-mail address and password.
Step 2 – In the ‘Search’ box at the top of the page, enter ‘Pages.’
Step 3 – From the results, select ‘Facebook Pages.’
Step 4 – In the top right hand corner, click on the button that reads ‘Create Page.’
Step 5 – From the options provided, select ‘Local Business or Place.’
Step 6 – Select ‘Real Estate’ from the category menu and fill out the required fields.
Step 7 – Agree to the ‘Facebook Pages Terms’ and your page will be created.

Adding ‘Show My Listings’ App to your Facebook Page

Step 1 – Go to http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=174758092525&sk=app_4949752878 to access the Facebook page for the Show My Listings App.
Step 2 – From the sidebar on the left, click on ‘Add to My Page’. A window will pop up with a list of all of your Facebook pages. Choose your Facebook page and click on ‘Add to Page’, then click on ‘Close’.
Step 3 – Go to your Facebook page and click on ‘My Listings’ from the app section on the left-hand sidebar. You will see a login box for you to enter your username and password. You will need to enter your HAR username and password.
Step 4 – Once you have entered your username and password, installation is complete.
Step 5 – Click on the ‘Edit Info’ link under your page name, then click on ‘Manage Permissions’. Here you change the ‘Default Landing Tab’ to ‘My Listings.’ Now when users visit your page, they will see your listings.
