Why Invest?

If real estate is your profession, then politics is your business. You need to be aware of what is going on and you need to be fighting for change. Investing in TREPAC allows you to do that without having to take the time away from your business.

p_martinHow do I invest?

You can invest online at www.har.com/trepac or by calling HAR TREPAC at 713-629-1900 ext. 271. HAR also hosts several TREPAC events throughout the year in which you can participate and this will count toward your investment. You can also complete a pledge and your credit card will be automatically charged on a monthly basis. The most convenient way to invest though is with your annual HAR dues every November.

Does it really matter?

REALTORS® must be politically active. If not, who will take on the responsibility of protecting the values and spillmanrights homeowners hold dear? Be assured that someone will—someone who may not value wise business planning and could threaten property owners and their rights. If REALTORS® do not speak out, get involved and help shape the discussion, someone else will. No one knows a community better than a REALTOR®. REALTORS® know the lay of the land, the families, the best schools, the neighborhoods and the leaders of any given area. REALTORS® are on the front line as defenders of real estate issues.

m_wongWhat’s in it for Me?

These days, being a REALTOR® is all about customer service. Becoming a member of TREPAC is providing one more benefit for your clients in the fact that you get the latest info on what laws and regulations are changing for real estate and you can let your clients know that you are fighting to protect their rights even while you are showing them property.
