February 19 | Around the World in 60 Minutes

A timely topic will be presented with room for a Q&A session at the end of the session. Lunch will be provided, and seating is limited. Investment: $15 and 60 minutes of your time. Register at www.har.com/edu

June 18, 19, 22, 23, 24 | The Certified International Property Specialist (C I P S) Institute.

This is a five-day, 40-hour, immersive course into the world of global real estate practices. Includes study of various cultures, currency and exchange rate issues, tax issues, and how to work with both inbound and outbound real estate clientele. Approved for 40 hours of continuing education credits. The annual HAR C I P S designee reception will be held on June 24, location to be announced.

September 17 | At Home with Diversity®

An educational opportunity designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry to real estate brokers, agents, association executives, and anyone associated with the industry. The class teaches real estate professionals how they can increase their sensitivity and adaptability to future market trends. It addresses issues of diversity, fair housing, and cultural differences. Participants will learn practical skills and tools to expand business and effectively service all cultural groups. This course serves as an elective course for the CIPS designation.

October 20 | HAR International Day

This is a day long program the advisory group hosts with 8-10 presentations on what you need to know today to sell globally while remaining in Houston. The HAR International Advisory Group works diligently to provide information to assist members in their global real estate business.
