In an effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and protect our members and staff, all four HAR offices will be closed until further notice, beginning Wednesday, March 18. We will continue to serve our members via phone, email and chat for any needs you might have.

All HAR in-person classes previously scheduled between March 18 and April 30 have been moved to a virtual format. If you were already registered for one of these classes, you will receive more information from the Education Department. You may also take advantage of our partnership with the CE Shoppe by using the discount code HAR35 to take online courses. That discount code is good until the end of May 31, 2020. You may find those courses at www.har.com/education and choose the online education tab.

Any HAR in-person meetings and events that were previously scheduled have also been cancelled or postponed until further notice.

If you need to purchase any items, including lockboxes, from the HAR SuperCenter store, you may purchase them online at http://store.har.com. You may either have them shipped to you, or you may pick them up at the HAR Central loading dock (west side of the building) between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. All orders must be placed online in advance.

We know many of you are continuing to conduct business, so we want to remind you to utilize the available HAR tools that can help you work or interact with your clients remotely. You may view the HAR tools at https://www.har.com/content/tools and the MLS tools at https://www.har.com/content/page/mls_services.

If you missed our Member Focus Monday on Facebook Live on Monday, March 16, you may view a recording of it by going to our Facebook page HERE. We were joined by Dr. Maria Elena Bottazzi from the Baylor College of Medicine. She and her team are working on a vaccine for the novel coronavirus, so it was a very informative and factual program. We also answered questions members had about how this impacts open houses, driving clients to showings, legal issues, and more.

Obviously, this is a rapidly changing situation, so please stay tuned to all of HAR’s communications channels for any updates. Again, we assure you that all of our services will still be available online, by phone, email or chat. We will get through this.

Stay safe…and wash your hands!
