René Galvan will step into the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Houston Association of REALTORS® on February 1, 2026. Galvan has been a key member of HAR’s leadership team since 1996 and has served as Executive Vice President since 1998.
Galvan has helped guide the association’s growth into one of the nation’s most respected REALTOR® organizations, now representing more than 50,000 residential and commercial members as Houston’s largest trade association and the second largest local REALTOR® association in the country.
Early in his career, he worked alongside Bob Hale, HAR’s President and CEO for 37 years, to help shape the original concept for HAR.com, now the most visited local real estate website with more than eight million unique visitors each month.
