The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) has been appointed to Belize as Ambassador Association by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). This strategic appointment gives HAR members across the greater Houston area a unique opportunity to meet and conduct business with counterparts in Belize.
The Ambassador Association program, newly revamped by NAR in 2018, provides an organization-to-organization contact for associations to share best practices, ideas and solutions to common real estate industry challenges. Based loosely on the International Sister-City program, this initiative provides a direct link between real estate professionals in each country.
“By participating in the Ambassador Association program, HAR is cultivating new business opportunities for real estate professionals and residents of greater Houston both locally and in Belize,” said Susan Annoura, chair of HAR’s International Advisory Group. “Sharing economic updates, upcoming projects and new developments between our nations provides yet another chance to showcase Houston to the world, which helps foster new business relationships.”
