Inman News reporter Andrea Brambila was first to cover the official launch of the new HAR.com, featuring statewide property listings. Her March 25 story included quotes from HAR President and CEO Bob Hale commenting on ways the site will benefit Realtors and consumers alike. On April 2, the go-live received coverage from the Katy Times. Additional coverage is anticipated.

In an April 6 story entitled “Average home listing price rose in March,” Houston Chronicle reporter Darla Guillen cited data from HAR’s March FRESH (First Real Estate Snapshot of Houston) Report and also used the article to promote the full March MLS report that HAR issued on April 8.

Inman News writer Steve Cook penned an upbeat story about how real estate will perform nationally in 2015, saying, “This year could be the breakout year when we blow past the doldrums that shackled sales this past fall — the year that the recovery got down to business.” Sampling various major cities around the U.S., his April 15 article cited HAR’s March MLS report, saying of Houston, “Consumers are buying newly listed homes before they ever had a chance to replenish the local housing supply.”
