Become a Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE)

Negotiation training is one of the most important focus areas for every successful business. 

Clients hire real estate agents to help achieve the best results possible in the sale or purchase of property. While no agent can guarantee specific results for a buyer or seller, MCNE® agents can prove they are the best trained real estate professionals in the one skill that influences the final outcome the most – negotiation.  “Negotiation skills are fundamental to success in real estate and the MCNE® designation shows clients that you have invested significant time and effort to acquire higher level skills for their benefit,” says Tom Hayman, CEO, and co-founder (along with John Wenner) of the Real Estate Negotiation Institute.

The MCNE® training program is unlike any other in the real estate industry.  The six classes (over six total days scheduled in two-day segments) train real estate professionals in negotiation skills similar to those used in corporate America and taught at the finest schools in the country.  Importantly, the training includes the application of proven negotiation techniques in real estate negotiation situations that help improve client results.  “Our goal is to raise the bar in professional representation of buyers and sellers in the real estate industry,” says Hayman.

The six courses required for the MCNE® designation are:

The GRI designation is the most widely recognized of the National Real Estate Designations. Consisting of three course, each taught by experts in their respective fields. This module consists of Seller Services, Buyers Services, Communications Technology and Real Estate Technology. GRI courses can be taken in any order and satisfy your nine hours of non-legal MCE Requirements. TREC rules mandate that each student be on time; please make sure to bring your license number with you the day of class. TAR provides a one-time, $50 coupon for qualifying students who register through the HAR website. Upon entering a user name and password, HAR will immediately communicate with TAR to verify if the coupon is applicable and will be applied immediately. All other courses will be at full price.

Become an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) today!

This course teaches how to educate your clients so that they understand and value the staging services that you perform. There are many before and after slides to teach creative problem solving skills that will help you make magic out of almost anything in the seller’s home!
