You may have seen recent news about national brokers and real estate portals entering agreements to display “Coming Soon” or private listings before they are entered into the MLS. Because practices and MLS rules can vary from market to market, national news articles can cause confusion.
We want to remind you that HAR’s MLS Clear Cooperation rules have not changed. If a listing is publicly marketed, it must be entered into the MLS within one (1) business day as either Active, Coming Soon or Private Per Seller. You can find more information ONLINE HERE.
HAR is also working on a new feature that will give listing agents and their sellers the option to display Coming Soon listings on HAR.com, IDX websites and portals. This will give members and their clients more flexibility while still following MLS rules. We will share more details soon.
