Kenya Burrell-VanWormer with Chase is New Chair

HAR has installed its 2018 board of directors with Kenya Burrell-VanWormer of Chase beginning a one-year term as chair effective January 1, 2018.

Kenya is a distinguished real estate professional with more than 16 years in the industry. Her experience ranges from new home construction, sales and marketing, to management, with clients from around the world, thanks to the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation she earned in Paris, France in 2006. She currently serves as Affordable Lending Relationship Manager with JP Morgan Chase in Houston.

REALTOR® Award Recipients
Prior to the installation ceremony, honors were awarded to two distinguished HAR members. Pamela Hughes is the recipient of the 2017 John E. Wolf Community Service Award, which recognizes an HAR member who has made outstanding contributions to the community, primarily outside the real estate industry.

Chance Brown is the 2017 REALTOR® of the Year, an honor bestowed upon HAR members who best personify the REALTOR® in spirit, ethics and professionalism.
