Did you know HAR has an international program and has since the early 1990s? That’s longer than some of our members have been alive! The program exists to assist HAR members in global real estate endeavors, provide educational coursework and networking opportunities. At no additional charge, you can enroll in the multilingual and multicultural member finder database and indicate you speak another language or specialize in another culture. More than 6,300 members have done so already and they receive email notices regarding upcoming courses the general membership may not receive. Additionally, please note, HAR cannot offer you legal or real estate advice but we can refer a member to a website, seasoned global practitioner or international affiliate association if needed.

The HAR international program is led by a group of 25 hard working and dedicated volunteers. All are members in good standing and apply to serve on the international advisory group or IAG, each year. We also have an impressive list of honorary members, including attorneys, title company professionals, City of Houston and Greater Houston Partnership executives, commercial real estate practitioners and leaders of HAR affiliate associations such as FIABCI, AREAA Houston Chapter, AAREA, the Texas RLI and others. These honorary members provide a valuable resource to HAR, external real estate knowledge, not otherwise readily available. They help us create a highly informative program each year known as International Day.

Below is a list of our offerings this year. We hope you can join us for one or all of them:
