Newsweek quoted 2023 HAR Chair Cathy Treviño in a December 20 story about how elevated interest rates are impacting the real estate market.

The Houston Chronicle cited HAR MLS data in a December 20 article about then-Mayor Sylvester Turner’s efforts to have 3,000 affordable homes built before the end of his term.

The Houston Chronicle interviewed 2024 HAR Governmental Affairs Advisor Group co-chair Kiley Rapier for a December 22 story about HAR’s support for Houston Police Chief Troy Finner’s crimefighting initiative calling for the widespread installation of security cameras.

HAR’S Most Expensive Homes Listed in Texas in December report received coverage in two publications: The Real Deal on December 29 and Houston Agent Magazine on January 4. Topping that list was a $50M mansion in Houston’s Timberwilde neighborhood.

The Leader News cited HAR MLS data in a January 1 story about the most expensive homes sold in Houston Heights in 2023.

Past HAR Chair Jennifer Wauhob was interviewed by KUHF/Houston Public Media Fort Bend reporter Natalie Weber about which neighborhoods across Fort Bend County experienced the highest-volume home sales in 2023. That’s story aired and was published online on January 4.

KTRH/NewsRadio 740 reporter Nikki Courtney cited HAR MLS data in her January 4 story about the 10 hottest real estate communities in Houston to watch for in 2024.

On January 11, Houston Agent Magazine reported on the T3 Sixty’s Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200), an annual ranking of the most powerful players in the residential real estate industry. HAR President and CEO Bob Hale was the highest-ranking Texas leader on the list.

Longtime Houston real estate blogger Ralph Bivins welcomed HAR Chair-elect Shae Cottar as the guest on his January 15 Ralph Bivins Project podcast, providing viewers with an outlook on where the Houston real estate market in headed in 2024.

HAR assisted Austin American-Statesman real estate reporter Shonda Novak for her story about the most expensive homes listed for sale across Austin/Travis County in all of 2023. The story published on January 17.

HAR Chair Thomas Mouton was quoted in a January 18 Axios story about what 2024 holds for Houston real estate.
