The Communications Department worked closely with the Governmental Affairs and Political Affairs teams for U.S. Senator John Cornyn’s visit to HAR. The event garnered extensive coverage from national media outlets, including MSNBC, C-SPAN, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, The New York Times and The Washington Post, as well as numerous state and local publications.
Several members of HAR’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors were interviewed for various articles in Community Impact’s 2026 Home Edition, which is distributed by mail to more than a million households in the Greater Houston area. HAR President & CEO René Galvan was also profiled in the May edition, highlighting his leadership and vision for the association and reinforcing HAR’s reputation as a trusted resource for both consumers and industry professionals
