HAR Chair-Elect Theresa Hill was interviewed by KRIV-TV/Fox 26 reporter Tom Zizka about mortgage rates being at the lowest level in a year and what that means for home buyers and sellers. The story aired on September 15.

HRIS Chair Mario Arriaga was quoted in various publications about HAR.com expanding to include commercial property listings. The September 15 announcement received coverage by Houston Agent Magazine, Real Estate News, Realty News Report and RISMedia.

HAR Chair Shae Cottar was interviewed by KRIV-TV/Fox 26 consumer reporter Heather Sullivan about the state of the Houston housing market and the impact of easing mortgage rates. The segment aired on September 23.

HRIS Director Bill Baldwin was quoted by Houston Chronicle reporter Megan Kimble in a story about how the federal government shutdown will impact the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The article was published on September 23.

The Real Deal reporter Isaiah Mitchell cited HAR’s Most Expensive Listings in Texas list in an article about the Cinemark founder listing his Preston Hollow home in Highland Park for $22M. The article was published on September 26.

The September 30 announcement of HAR’s data share agreement with the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems (NTREIS) received coverage by HousingWire, Houston Agent Magazine and Real Estate News. The agreement gives HAR MLS subscribers access to active listings in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.
