HRIS Director Bill Baldwin was interviewed by Newsweek reporter Giulia Carbonaro for an article about how flood events impact homeowners and the importance of flood insurance. The story was published on July 21.

Chron.com’s Gulf Coast Reporter Chris Gray cited HAR data in a story about a section of Galveston’s Strand district being on the market for $15 million. The article was published on July 30.

Community Impact cited data from HAR’s Housing and Rental Affordability report for a story about Atascocita and Humble seeing an increase in home affordability. The story was published on July 29.

Austin American-Statesman reporter Alexis Simmerman featured HAR’s report on the 10 Most Expensive Listings in Texas in July. The article was published on August 5. KHOU-TV/11 News also featured the HAR report, which includes three Houston homes that are all on the same street. The article was published on July 31.

HRIS Chair Mario Arriaga was quoted in a Real Estate News article about HAR launching a Facebook ads tool for agents. The article was published on August 13.

Houston Chronicle Reporter Erica Grieder cited HAR data in a story about a ZIP code in Cypress that leads the nation in inbound moves the first half of this year. Cypress South had the most home sales in the region in 2024. The article was published on August 15.

HAR Communications Advisory Group Chair Jennifer Vickers was interviewed by KHOU-TV/11 News investigative reporter Cheryl Mercedes about what home buyers need to know about the increasing risk of wire fraud. The story aired on August 18.
