CommGate (CommGate.com) is continually working with its programming team to meet the needs of the commercial real estate community. We have reached out to brokers and agents, taken their comments and suggestions, and turned them into a plan to continue the expansion of CommGate services.

One of the latest features is a newly redesigned public-facing website. More commercial real estate professionals and their clients turn to their mobile devices when searching online, while few rely exclusively on a desktop computer. In fact, 28% of the web traffic on CommGate.com is from phones and tablets. With this in mind, the new CommGate website offers a more mobile-friendly layout and keeps all the features of the previous version of the site.

The CommGate public site also includes a news section where new listings are frequently featured in “Hotsheet” posts. These alerts are emailed to the brokerage community in an effort to help buyers’ agent and brokers stay informed of new listings that hit the market. Brokers and agents can share HotSheet alerts with their clients, or they can drill down into any of the listing detail pages for more in-depth reporting. The CommGate HotSheet is one of the many tools that are available to help members stay informed and guide their clients through the ever-changing commercial real estate market.

In this coronavirus landscape, brokers and agents have also asked CommGate to rethink its paper application process. As a result, CommGate has streamlined its membership process, and the application is now completely online. New members fill out an online form, sign the membership agreement and make their payment electronically. CommGate is also developing an account portal that will make account management and recurring payments even easier. Visit CommGate.com to see these and other features of the new site.
