The ActiveKEY operates on 2G technology which is being phased out by all major cell phone carriers and will no longer be supported by Supra. The ActiveKEY is scheduled for deactivation on Oct. 15.

Supra began converting all remaining ActiveKEY users to the eKEY on June 21.

Call HAR Member Services at 713.629.1900 Option 4 and someone will be happy to help upgrade you to the eKEY.

How to Prepare Before You Call

  1. Verify the operating system of your phone. The eKEY app works with Apple iOS 12 (or later) and with Android OS 8 (or later). View more info here.
  2. Download the Supra eKEY app from the App Store or Google Play
  3. Decide what 4-digit PIN code you want.

Good news! Moving to eKEY also saves you on monthly fees. Pricing starts at just $12.67 per month, a savings of $4 per month from your ActiveKEY fees.

  • There is no number to call to get this activated as the Wonderful Schedule Button takes you to a page that says there are ZERO appointments for the next 3 months! … So how do we get this eKey thing when we have the ActiveKey? I am an appraiser and have not needed my ActiveKey for the past couple of weeks. This is exhausting trying to get this figures out and I am way too busy doing appraisals to deal with this thing. The ActiveKey was the best for our profession and I never wanted the eKey on my phone. Please give me a number to call to get this done. I called Supra and they said I have to talk to HAR. I seriously don’t have time for this and need to be concentrating on typing reports. Thanks!

  • I think there was somewhere on this page a place to agree to something. I can’t seem to find it. I believe it was an agreement to let the monies be taken from our accounts. Not sure.

  • With all the bad ratings and reviews of the eKey app, why are we forced to transition in getting the app? My ActiveKey has been very reliable in doing it’s job without any problems. Every time the app doesn’t work, it makes realtors look bad and we can end up losing the client.

    • Angelina, the feedback that HAR has received from the 37,000 agents already using the app throughout the Houston area has been largely positive. The ActiveKEY operates on 2G technology which is being phased out by all major cell phone carriers. That means that by later this year, the ActiveKEY will no longer work or be supported by Supra. In other words, there won’t be a choice in terms of device. You’ll either have one that works or one that does not.

    I have a flip phone as I am going off the grid as much as possible. All the wifi is UNSAFE. Will this work with a flip phone? If not, ??.

    I do not want the new eKey app. Therefore, I would like a refund as I have paid for the Supra Key to Jan 2022, Will you be crediting my credit card back the balance. Please advise.

    • Tracy,

      The Supra fee you paid is for key services through January 2022. If you choose to no longer have key services, there is no refund for the remaining service period. You may continue the service after August 6th by upgrading to the eKEY.
