The Houston Association of REALTORS® is making headlines! Here’s a look at some of the media coverage our organization has received over the past few weeks.

HAR’s August 2016 MLS news release, reporting a strong rebound in single-family home sales facilitated by improved inventory, generated coverage from mid- to late September in the following media outlets:

The Houston Chronicle ran a large spread in its Sunday, October 2 real estate section, announcing winners of HAR’s 2016 Young Professionals Network (YPN) ‘20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Real Estate Awards,’ along with a black and white group photo. The article featured bios of the recipients that were provided by HAR. It was also published with the color version of the photo on chron.com online.

The Houston Business Journal also featured a large write-up about HAR’s 2016 YPN honorees in its September 30 email newsletter/online edition, featuring the color group photo.

The Houston Chronicle published a story on the front page of its October 9 real estate section about HAR becoming the first local Realtor association in the U.S. to raise $1 million for a real estate political action committee – in this instance, TREPAC. HAR’s incredible achievement also garnered coverage in the October 1 edition of the Galveston County Daily News.
