  • Since 1997, all HAR-developed tools have been incorporated into a single MLS package without raising MLS fees.
  • National industry politics and federal law have resulted in NAR policy changes that require local MLSs to unbundle MLS services. Effective July 1, 2016, HAR will comply with these new NAR policies by providing an additional package of services.
  • All MLS Subscribers will continue to receive those services defined by NAR as “substantially related to the function of a MLS” in a MLS Standard package.
  • A new MLS Platinum (optional) package of services has been developed by HAR designed to drive leads to your business and maximize your marketing exposure.

  • This is a HUGE disappointment. While HAR is gleeful that they haven’t increased dues in 20 years, they are now effectively increasing the cost of membership with existing services by more than $100 per year all the while benefiting from a surging number of members. Meanwhile, they still rely on CoreLogic’s dated MLS technologies instead of upgrading to HTML based, contemporary solutions like Matrix. For shame! If the NAR and federal regulations require these services to be unbundled, then member fees should DECREASE to correspond with the DECREASED services being provided by the association.

  • Am I reading this right? Standard service removes key features like Client Experience Ratings and Agent Websites, but the cost remains the same. So to maintain the current level of services, agent dues are increased by 33% !
