Pasadena and Pearland Runoff Election Results The runoff elections for the cities of Pasadena and Pearland were held on Saturday, June 10. Turn out in Pasadena was 6,747 votes, which is about 11% of registered voters. Jeff Wagner defeated HAR member and recommended candidate, John “JR” Moon, 56% to 43%. Runoff Elections for Pasadena and Pearland this Saturday, June 10

To our HAR members in Pasadena, Pearland and Sugar Land: This Saturday, June 10, runoff elections are being held for several local positions. The HAR Board of Directors has recommended HAR member and REALTOR® John Moon, Jr. for Pasadena Mayor and Woody Owens for Pearland City Council Position #7. 2016 Election Results Recap

Another election season is behind us and once again the majority of voters agreed with the Houston Association of REALTORS®’ (HAR) candidate recommendations. HAR had a 91.8% success rate. HAR members who live in the Houston Independent School District (HISD) were encouraged to vote AGAINST Proposition 1 and they listened, with 62.65% voting AGAINST, 37.35% FOR and 23.77% not participating. This result will now eliminate the $162 million dollar recapture
