HAR-TV Can Bring Your Marketing to Life

Have you ever heard the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”? If that’s true, then a video may be worth a million. It’s no secret that video is taking over the Internet, and quickly. Last year, HAR had signage displayed that read “Everyday, 2 billion videos are viewed on YouTube.” That number is now up to more than 3 billion and continues to increase every day. In fact, YouTube...

2012 HAR Online Advertising Campaign

Each year at about this time, we launch our online advertising campaign where we place ads on other sites. After a few years of experience, we have a pretty good idea of which sites perform the best and warrant being considered for inclusion in the buy the following year. This year’s online campaign began during the first month of April so we do not yet have a full month of numbers, but we do have...

Tax Facts: There is NOT a 3.8 Percent Tax on the Sale of All Homes

But It Will Apply in Some Limited Circumstances Who would have thought that healthcare legislation would have created such a whirlwind among REALTORS® and homeowners? When you are already one of the most widely-known websites in the greater Houston area, what do you do about advertising? Not to sound boastful, but about one-quarter of the population of the greater Houston area is on HAR.com during any given month. That is tremendous reach that has definitely taken time and effort to develop. You should all be very proud of that accomplishment. We are a known entity...
