The Houston Association of REALTORS® and the Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation joined together to help raise funds for breast cancer research at the Second Annual Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation “Swing for the Cure” Golf Tournament. On Monday, March 21, a total of 21 teams participated in the event, held at the Sweetwater Golf Course, that benefitted the foundation.

The day commenced with each player receiving a shoe bag from AG Geophysical that included goodies from various sponsors. Before beginning the round of golf, the putting contest sponsored by John McConn from Iberia Bank Mortgage took place on the putting green. At 11 a.m., a shotgun start began the 18 holes of golf which included contests along the way sponsored by Famous Grouse and Debera Fontenot. Team pictures were graciously provided by TK Imaging. An awards ceremony dinner with door prizes and raffle items provided by Maxine Myers and Jennifer Hernandez from Patriot Bank Mortgage concluded the fun-filled day.

The Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation would like to thank its Diamond Sponsor, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Anderson Properties and its Silver Sponsor Kent Woodard for their generous support.
