Houston Association of REALTORS® Announces Slate of Recommended Candidates for May 14 The Woodlands Township Board of Directors Election

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – (April 28, 2011) – The Houston Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors has announced its decision to support the following candidates for The Woodlands Township Board of Directors in the upcoming May 14 Election:

Position 5: Nelda Luce Blair
Position 6: Peggy S. Hausman
Position 7: Bruce Tough

“The Woodlands Township has some very important decisions to make in the coming years about how our community will operate,” said HAR Montgomery County Political Affairs Advisory Leadership Chair Richard Gregory of Connect Realty.com. “Nelda Luce Blair, Peggy Hausman and Bruce Tough have all proven their leadership and dedication to the residents in this area which resonates well with our membership. We are proud to support them in their campaigns for re-election.”

Montgomery County and Houston area REALTORS® are involved in the political process at all levels, promoting policies and supporting candidates who advocate for private property rights and home ownership. Electing lawmakers who understand the concerns of private property owners and act accordingly is the Association’s top priority.

Early Voting in The Woodlands begins on Monday, May 2 and ends Tuesday, May 10. Election Day is Saturday, May 14, 2011.
